Recording does not work

Hi,

I'm using Firestick 4K Max and TiviMate. When I try to record to a USB stick, I get the error "Failed to change recording folder."

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Did you format the USB stick as Fat32?

I don't think the issue is caused by Fat32. Also, keep in mind that Fat32 only supports files up to 4 GB. Once you reach that limit, the recording stops. If 4 GB allows around 2 hours of recording, all your recorded files will be 2 hours long.

Did you set the USB stick as external storage?

I'm using iMplayer and recording works without any issues.

I haven't changed any settings. What should I do?

You need to select the recording folder in the Recording Tab within the settings.

I think it's a permission issue. Find "System Picker" in the settings and grant access to the folder on your USB stick.

I set up System Picker as you suggested. Thanks, everyone, for your help!
