Got a MAG device? Follow this simple guide to set up IPTV in minutes—no technical skills needed!


🔌 What You'll Need

✔️ MAG Box (254, 322, 351, 420, etc.)
✔️ Portal URL from your provider (format: http://example.com:8080/c )
✔️ Wired Ethernet connection (highly recommended)
✔️ Remote control


🚀 Step-by-Step MAG Box Setup

1️⃣ Connect Your Device

  1. Plug in power + Ethernet cable (Wi-Fi works but causes buffering)

  2. Turn on device - wait for Infomir loading screen


2️⃣ Enter Your Portal (3 Ways)

Method 1: Quick Setup (First Boot)

  1. On startup, press "Menu" on remote

  2. Select "Installation" > "Server"

  3. Enter your portal URL exactly as provided

  4. Press "OK" to save

Method 2: Through Settings

  1. Press "Settings" (wrench icon)

  2. Go to "Servers" > "Portals"

  3. Add new portal:

  • Name: Your provider's name
  • URL: Full portal address

  1. Set as default > "OK"

Method 3: Using Remote Shortcut

  1. Press "Settings" button

  2. Quickly type 3227 (for MAG 322) or 2227 (for MAG 254)

  3. Portal configuration will appear instantly


🔧 Troubleshooting MAG-Specific Issues

🔴 "STB Blocked" Error
➡️ Contact provider immediately - your MAC address may be banned

🟠 "Invalid Portal" Message
➡️ Double-check URL format (must include http:// and port like :8080)
➡️ Try alternative portal URL if provider offers one

🟡 Channels Freezing/Pixelating
➡️ Always use Ethernet - MAG boxes perform poorly on Wi-Fi
➡️ Check internet speed (minimum 15Mbps for HD)

🟢 No EPG (TV Guide)
➡️ MAG boxes auto-download EPG from portal
➡️ Wait 24 hours - if still missing, contact provider


⚠️ Important MAG Box Notes

  • NO M3U Support: MAG devices only work with portal URLs
  • NO VPN: Must use VPN router if ISP blocks IPTV
  • Firmware Updates: Go to Settings > Software Update
  • Factory Reset: Settings > System > Factory Reset (last resort)
